I used to drink ayahuasca a lot. It was a big part of my life. It served as the doorway into another world. A gateway that released a flood of information. Information that was supposed to serve me in understanding myself and humanity. Visions that require us to detach from our own bodies and to face our deepest, darkest fears in order to expand our consciousness to reach this higher level of understanding. A small glimpse into the mysteries of life. Lots of energetic work. Lots of clearing of Ancestral Karma and trauma. So much visual medicine and fuel to my creativity. However, I stopped drinking ayahuasca.
I haven’t sat in a year and half. I’ve had several plans for ceremonies and trips planned but they all fell through. She calls you and you go, it’s that simple. The thing is that I began to prefer projecting myself into the cosmos than staying here in my body. It created a major disconnect for me and now I’ve learned that we are meant to be in our bodies right now. If we are gifted the opportunity to travel outward for an evening or so that is one thing, but we are not meant to sit in ceremony night after night, year after year. The work is in the present moment and that is where the healing will take place.
This piece is a tribute to plant medicine and those who have journeyed with aya to those doing the work with the master plants and learning and integrating the deep and profound lessons. This work creates a positive ripple effect on all of humanity. #ayahuasca #plantmedicine #dmt #visualmedicine #serpent #snake #serpentgoddess #cosmicart #cosmicconnection #digitalart
This image was inspired by my daughters school assignment and the fable we read. We created it together. #rainbowsnake #rainbowserpent #cosmicconnection #cosmicart #cosmicserpent
